ExtenZe Soda

leave a comment

It’s amazing to see what the newest developments are in the male enhancement realm.

It looks like the makers of ExtenZe supplements are attempting to diversify and solidify their presence in the male enhancement market.

It appears that Extenze also comes in a drink — actually it’s available in soda form.

This could be an option for guys to consider, especially for those who are somewhat squeamish about pills.  Before you guys reach for that cold male enhancement soda, you may want to give this a second thought because the ExtenZe drink also contains yohimbe.  As mentioned previously yohimbe can cause some pretty scary side effects.

To add to that, we can’t forget ExtenZe’s notorious history with many disgruntled customers.

With that said, for those of you who are curious and want to know more information about ExtenZe soda you can check out their infomercial on youtube:

By the way (though this has nothing to do with the drink at all), some of you might be interested to know that lingerie model and former backup dancer for Brittney Spears, Bridgetta Tomarchio, is a spokesperson for ExtenZe.  You’ll also see her hosting the infomercial.

Well you have to admit she definitely does grab one’s attention.

Extenze

leave a comment

Extenze is another male enhancement product that claims to increase penis size.  We all know by now that only surgery can make this possible.

It’s unfortunate when manufacturers use this type of marketing claim and what’s even more unfortunate is that the unassuming customer falls victim to their false advertising.

In 2006 Extenze, paid a civil penalty of $300,000 to California’s Orange County District’s office for unfair business practices and false advertising.  Apparently Extenze was unable to prove its claim that the product could make users’ penises grow by almost 30%.

This story gets better.

Several customers also complained to the Better Business Bureau that Extenze was making them seriously ill.  After further investigation, findings revealed that the supplement contained lead exceeding legal limits.  Extenze also contains Yohimbe and we’ve already discussed the potential hazards of this ingredient.

It doesn’t end there.  When customers tried to contact the company to ask for refunds, it was next to impossible.  No live person would pick up the phone or reply to emails and when customers could finally get in touch with someone, they were given a very hard time.  To add to that, credit cards were automatically billed each month for products customers didn’t want.

Hmm…sounds like déjà vu doesn’t it?  That’s because it is.  It appears that Extenze has an auto shipping program almost identical to Enzyte where customers think they are signing up for a “free trial” but they end up being forced to pay $40 each month.

A word of advice…don’t trust Extenze!

Enzyte thoughts

leave a comment

Enzyte is perhaps the most infamous all-natural male enhancement supplement.  Of course you surely recognize the character of Smiling Bob sporting his goofy grin in their TV commercials.   At one point in time it was apparently the top-selling natural male enhancement product that marketed itself as a “penis enlarger.”

In 2006, following a slew of customer complaints to the Better Business Bureau about its marketing and business practices, Enzyte’s CEO and founder, Steve Warshack, was found guilty of mail fraud, bank fraud and money laundering among other charges.  Customers complained that the product did not deliver on its claims to enlarge the penis.  Other customers complained about Enzyte’s “autoship” program where customers were automatically billed for products without their knowledge.  Warshack was then sentenced to 25 years in prison.  Since then Enzyte was bought by another company called Vianda which claims   that it has now changed its marketing and business practices – though according to recent customer complaints it appears that not much has changed.

Apparently Enzyte now employs a so-called “ViaLife Rewards Program” which makes the unassuming customer think that this is a special promotion; however, it’s anything but.  Actually when you sign up for a supposed free trial of Enzyte and your credit card information is collected, your credit card will be automatically charged each month whether you intended to buy any products or not.  This is still an “autoship” program that is cleverly worded.

Well, Enzyte is perhaps right about one claim… it could very well be the # 1 selling male enhancement product.  This is all thanks to the autoship…oops (our mistake) the Rewards Program.
