So with that said we came across a message from a visitor:

“How can I trust my wife [girlfriend] again after being cheated on? How can we ever make love again when I know she’s been with another man?”

Well, enhancementadvice.com is by no means a relationship expert on this subject but we will try to provide some input speaking from one guy to another. Here are some tips we’ve come up with that may help you:

1. First and foremost, you must decide to move forward with your life and be willing to trust and love again even if it means ending your ending your marriage or relationship and starting a new one (after taking some time to heal of course).

2. Don’t ask or dwell on details about the infidelity. Asking when, where, how many times, positions (etc.) won’t do you or your partner any good and it’s pointless. You’ll just end up driving yourself mad and you’ll never be able to move on. Instead maybe ask questions like: Why did you cheat on me? Is it over? Do you love him? Do you want our marriage to work? This way you’ll be able to gauge whether your relationship is worth saving or not.

3. Confirm with your spouse/partner whether the cheating is really over. There’s no use staying in a relationship that makes you feel like the third wheel – you’ll lose what’s left of your dignity and self respect. If it’s confirmed that that the cheatings is over, make sure your partner understands that earning back their trust will not happen overnight and that recovery (on your part) is a step by step process.

4. Don’t be afraid to seek outside / professional help. Fifty years ago, marriage counseling was considered taboo and problems in one’s marriage or relationship were never discussed. Fortunately today, counseling is as common as paying a visit to the doctor. Heck, if Elin Woods, Charlie Sheen and Reese Witherspoon can seek help, why not consider it yourself?

All in all, getting over infidelity does not have a ‘one-solution-for all’ fix. Only you can decide for yourself how to best handle the situation.

But one thing is certain…you must decide to move on.
