The Newest Face of Male Enhancement

leave a comment

For those of you who are interested in the topic of male enhancement, here’s something that might be of interest.

Ron Jeremy a.k.a. “The Hedgehog”, adult film aficionado (actor and producer of many adult flicks), has been the face promoting various natural male enhancement supplements which included VigRx Plus, Extenze (though not any longer), and most recently Bigralis.  As always, enhancementadvice.com is curious about anything to do with male enhancement so we decided to do a bit of research on the male enhancement spokesperson.

Did you know that his manhood measures 9.75 inches?  With this in mind, we wondered whether he was naturally “blessed” or whether he has done anything special to maintain his healthy manhood.  Has he actually taken every male enhancer he’s endorsed?  Hmm…we wonder.

Okay, so here’s another interesting point we found out about Ron Jeremy.  He’s very educated.  Yes, that’s right he’s got a bachelor’s degree in education and theatre along with a master’s degree in special education.  Fascinating isn’t it?

Among Ron Jeremy’s latest commercials, you’ll find him donned in an alligator costume while trying to promote Bigralis.  Hilarious yet disturbing!  What alligators and natural male enhancement products have in common, or, what alligators and penises have in common is somewhat of a mystery to us.  Now if he were dressed in a penis costume (though some might consider it a bit too risqué), people would totally understand the connection wouldn’t you think?

As for those of us who’ve seen the commercial, we hope that no one has any scary nightmares of alligators trying to chew off one’s man bits.

Not a very pleasing thought.

ExtenZe Soda

leave a comment

It’s amazing to see what the newest developments are in the male enhancement realm.

It looks like the makers of ExtenZe supplements are attempting to diversify and solidify their presence in the male enhancement market.

It appears that Extenze also comes in a drink — actually it’s available in soda form.

This could be an option for guys to consider, especially for those who are somewhat squeamish about pills.  Before you guys reach for that cold male enhancement soda, you may want to give this a second thought because the ExtenZe drink also contains yohimbe.  As mentioned previously yohimbe can cause some pretty scary side effects.

To add to that, we can’t forget ExtenZe’s notorious history with many disgruntled customers.

With that said, for those of you who are curious and want to know more information about ExtenZe soda you can check out their infomercial on youtube:

By the way (though this has nothing to do with the drink at all), some of you might be interested to know that lingerie model and former backup dancer for Brittney Spears, Bridgetta Tomarchio, is a spokesperson for ExtenZe.  You’ll also see her hosting the infomercial.

Well you have to admit she definitely does grab one’s attention.

Herbs vs Drugs

leave a comment

Impotence also known as Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is the inability to achieve or sustain an erection adequate for sexual intercourse.  Although most men are afraid to admit to it, ED is a fairly common occurrence.

The unveiling of Viagra in the late 90s spawned the birth of other prescription ED drugs like Cialis and Levitra as well as other generic brands.  Following the birth of these prescription medications countless natural male enhancement products also known as “Herbal Viagra” popped up soon after.

The fact of the matter is, herbs are not a new concept when dealing with male impotence.  In fact, herbs have been used for many centuries in Chinese, African, naturopathic and traditional medicine.

The question on many people’s minds is:

Are herbal supplements better and safer than prescription drugs?

Well, yes and no.  Though many herbal male enhancement supplements are designed much like good quality vitamins which are beneficial to your sexual health, there are a number of products that may contain unknown amounts of very potent herbs that can be toxic to the body which in turn can cause very serious side effects (i.e. Yohimbe).  And as mentioned in earlier posts, we’ve seen and heard about some products that contain the real drug sildenafil which is used in Viagra and should only be given by a doctor’s prescription.  To add, the FDA has found that some herbal supplements contained traces of lead or animal feces (perhaps from animals grazing nearby the herbs).

Ahh…Remember good old Extenze?

The problem isn’t with the herbs themselves but the way in which some male enhancers are manufactured and in many cases where they’re manufactured.  Unlike prescription drugs which follow strictly controlled guidelines set by the FDA, the manufacturing and selling of herbal supplements isn’t as regulated.  This means that some companies (particularly those located outside of North America) don’t even test their products before they sell them.

Food for thought isn’t it?

Men, a word of advice…when choosing a supplement make sure it’s manufactured in North America at an FDA approved laboratory!

Extenze

leave a comment

Extenze is another male enhancement product that claims to increase penis size.  We all know by now that only surgery can make this possible.

It’s unfortunate when manufacturers use this type of marketing claim and what’s even more unfortunate is that the unassuming customer falls victim to their false advertising.

In 2006 Extenze, paid a civil penalty of $300,000 to California’s Orange County District’s office for unfair business practices and false advertising.  Apparently Extenze was unable to prove its claim that the product could make users’ penises grow by almost 30%.

This story gets better.

Several customers also complained to the Better Business Bureau that Extenze was making them seriously ill.  After further investigation, findings revealed that the supplement contained lead exceeding legal limits.  Extenze also contains Yohimbe and we’ve already discussed the potential hazards of this ingredient.

It doesn’t end there.  When customers tried to contact the company to ask for refunds, it was next to impossible.  No live person would pick up the phone or reply to emails and when customers could finally get in touch with someone, they were given a very hard time.  To add to that, credit cards were automatically billed each month for products customers didn’t want.

Hmm…sounds like déjà vu doesn’t it?  That’s because it is.  It appears that Extenze has an auto shipping program almost identical to Enzyte where customers think they are signing up for a “free trial” but they end up being forced to pay $40 each month.

A word of advice…don’t trust Extenze!
